The GSRS holds meetings quarterly and alternate between a location in Stokes and Rockingham Counties. All meetings are held beginning at 2:30 pm and the board of directors meeting at 1:30 pm. Below is the schedule for the upcoming meetings:

Oct 12th Madison-Mayodan Public Library-Debbie Brown will be speaking on how to search records with no index on Family Search.

Jan 12th(Rescheduled for Jan 26) Danbury Public Library - Steve Shelton will be talking about history of the town of Danbury

Apr 13th Madison-Mayodan Public Library - Jeff Bullins is going to show us the H Lee Waters Film about Western Rockingham County.

Jul 13th Danbury Public Library - Pat Edwards will be speaking on AI and how it helps with family research.

The swap meetings are held two times a year, once in Stokes and Rockingham Counties. The hours are from 9 am to 4 pm. We ask that everyone bring a covered dish to share for lunch, this way no one has to leave to get lunch.
