The GSRS holds meetings quarterly and alternate between a location in Stokes and Rockingham Counties. All meetings are held beginning at 2:30 pm and the board of directors meeting at 1:30 pm. Below is the schedule for the upcoming meetings:

Jan 11th Danbury Public Library - Debbie Brown and Janelle Johnson will speak about the WPA Project Records.

Apr 12th Madison-Mayodan Public Library -Elvin Perkins will speak about the Slave Narratives which were recorded by the WPA.

The swap meetings are held two times a year, once in Stokes and Rockingham Counties. The hours are from 9 am to 4 pm. We ask that everyone bring a covered dish to share for lunch, this way no one has to leave to get lunch.
