| Descendants of Thomas Price Reunion The descendants of Thomas Price (ca. 1730 - 1792) of Pittsylvania County, VA Reunion will be held: Sunday August 5th, 2012 12:30pm – 4:00pm at the First Baptist Church (Fellowship Hall next to the Church) 300 E. Main St. Stoneville, NC 27048 BBQ and fried chicken will be provided so cousins are asked to bring a side dish. Donations will be accepted to assist with the cost of food and rent of the facility. Most cousins in the Rockingham County area descend from Reece Price, son of Thomas. But all Thomas Price descendants from across the country are welcome. This is the first multi-family Price Reunion since the early 1980’s so we’re expecting a large turnout. |
| Martin Family Reunion FORTY-SECOND Annual Meeting! Rain or Shine! Great Food! MARTIN Family Reunion Farris Park, Mayodan NC Sunday, June 23, 2013 It's almost time once more for the MARTIN FAMILY REUNION, which each year draws descendants of Joseph Martin (c1750-c1810) and Richard Martin (1758-c1845) of Ayersville NC from across the country. We meet for a covered-dish dinner in the picnic shelter at beautiful Farris Park near Mayodan NC. Some come to learn more about their family tree, while others just like to see their kinfolk – and maybe meet some new cousins! We hope you will join us this year. The crowd starts to gather about 11:00. Many local cousins come after church. We eat about 1:00. See you there! Directions: From Madison, go west on NC 704 to the first major intersection; turn right (north) on Ayersville Road; go up and over the ridge; turn left at the bottom of the hill on Park Road, and the park is a short distance on the left. | Drury Smith Descendants Family Reunion July 21, 2013 1:00pm Dan Valley Community Building 310 Dan Valley Road Madison, NC 27025 (Turn off of State Road 135 at the traffic light near McMichael High School on Dan Valley Rd. The Community Building is on the right) Bring a covered dish of your choosing and join us for an afternoon of exceptional food, fun, and fellowship. The event is held on the third Sunday of July every year. The annual reunion for the descendants of Drury Smith has been a wonderful summer event for the last several years. Plan to attend and bring the family and friends. The gathering is a wonderful opportunity for family members to get together and compare notes, share photos and fellowship with other Smith descendants. Please plan to attend.
